Richard has over 22 years experience working with Act! and other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Using the very first version of Act! in his Dandenong based training company, Richard soon realised the value of Contact Management. Richard has worked as a Project Manager and implementing CRM solutions based on SAP, Siebel, ACCPAC, Maximizer and Tracker and is one of the most experienced CRM consultants in Australia.

Prior to joining Act Today in 2002, Richard ran his own successful Act! consultancy business. To provide the best possible service to his clients, Richard realised the benefits of being part professional and dedicated team of consultants. With the experience and knowledge gained from the Act Today bi-monthly training workshops, Richard is able to offer his clients a wide range of specialised and expert skills. Richard also enjoys the support and friendship that the Act Today team provides.

Richard’s main focus is to help organisations get the most out of Act!. Richard believes that there are several stages to a successful implementation of Act!. The most important being:

• Understanding the client’s objectives in order to design a system that will achieve their goals
• Creating templates and reports so that the client can maximise the information recorded in Act!
• Identifying ways of optimising Act! with other systems – eg. quoting, phone, campaign management, web sites, mailouts; the list is extensive
• Importing data from other sources like MYOB, Outlook or the competition
• Training – what brings it all together

As a Act! Certified Consultant, Richard knows Act!. As a Business Consultant, he ensures that companies get the best out of Act!, enabling them to deliver great service, and exceed customer expectations.

Richard’s interests include his family and anything outdoor (except bungee jumping and parachuting – why jump out of a perfectly good aeroplane?). Richard particularly enjoys surfing, snowboarding, tennis and four wheel driving.
